Sorry that this is turning into the most boring journal ever written. I'm recording every detail so that I'll have them all for future reference.
My E2 today was up to 255. Still low (I think) but more than doubling. They apparently think it's OK now because I'm supposed to continue with my current doses of meds (Follistim 125 IU each evening, along with Lupron 5 units and Menopur 75 IU every morning.)
I have my first ultrasound tomorrow, so that should tell the tale about what is really going on. I think I'm starting to feel my ovaries just a little bit, mostly on the left side. I wonder what it will feel like in a few days.

February 2006 - Engaged to S...
October 2006 - Married S!
November 2006 - Stopped my Yasmin OCPs, read TCOYF, and started immediately starting charting (Fertility Awareness Method). I ovulate every month, although the day of ovulation has varied from CD15 to CD26.
March 2007 - Started using OPKs.
June 2007 - Start testing. My TSH, prolactin, estradiol, and FSH are all normal. Unfortunately, S's semen analysis shows OK count and motility, but poor morphology. We are told to "keep trying for 4 more months."
August 2007 - HSG normal.
October 2007 - S's repeat semen analysis now has borderline count, too. Met with RE. An ultrasound shows that my ovaries look polycystic! Do I have PCOS, too? I start Metformin ER 1000 mg bid. Saline sonohystogram shows normal uterus, no polyps or fibroids.
November 2007 - S goes to urologist. Has scrotal ultrasound to look for varicoceles and bloodwork, but we have never received the results. Apparently we have to make another appointment to get the results. S starts some sort of herbal male fertility supplement.
November/December 2007 - Clomid/IUI#1 - negative. Clomid 50 mg CD3-7 yields 2 good follicles. 11 million total motile sperm post-wash.
December 2007/January 2008 - Clomid/IUI#2 - negative. Clomid 50 mg CD3-7 yields 1 giganto-follicle and 2 medium follicles. 11.4 million total motile sperm post-wash.
January/February 2008 - Clomid/IUI#3 - negative. Clomid 50 mg CD3-7 yields 1 16 mm follicle on CD12. 11.8 million total motile sperm post-wash.
February/March 2008 - Unmedicated IUI. No info on follicles, but ovulated on CD15. 19 million total motile sperm post-wash.
April 2008 - Moving on to IVF with ICSI.
May 11, 2008 - BFP on Mother's Day 2008!

I did the same thing when I was going through IVF - I recorded every single day, every boring detail. I wanted my blog to not only serve as a reminder for me, but also maybe give some insight to anyone else out there going through it or considering IVF. I think it's great! I love to hear about your daily progress!!!

Hey So today is Stim 5 for me also. I am taking 150 of Gonal/Follistm, 75 Menopur and 10 units of Lupron. That is cool that we are on the same schedule! Good luck at Sono! Please check my blog out.
